Lule Productions a registered entity of trained applied theatre practitioners and candidates of cultural policy and arts management. Formed in 2019 by the Co founders Lunga Khuhlane and Relebohile Mabunda and to date, Lule Productions has created platforms towards imparting skills and knowledge on youth who have not been privileged with opportunities to further their studies in the cultural and creative sector but demonstrate an interest and potential as performers and creatives.
The company has offered platforms to school going children living with disabilities opportunities of cultural expression and participation particularly in marginalized communities. The company's main focus is to engage vulnerable groups e.g children and youth living with disabilities, LGBTIQ +communities, women children, foreign nationals using applied drama and theatre techniques to elicit dialogue about uncomfortable issues. We also aim to create work for cultural workers especially the youth to contribute to their livelihoods.
